The clock in the church tower was installed in 1906. It was a gift from Lady Rowena Carden who lived at Stargroves at the time. It replaced a clock installed 40 years earlier, itself a gift from Lady Louisa Howard of Hazelby, and was refurbished in 1975 in memory of Henry Charles Lansley, a churchwarden for 33 years.

The clock uses the church bells to chime on the quarter hour and on the hour. Up until early 2022 the weights powering the clock and the chimes, descended the full height of the tower in three and a half days. Hence one of our team of (highly trained) team of winders used to climb the tower twice a week. But thanks to the generosity of local residents an automatic winding mechanism is now in place. Then later in 2022, also thanks to generous donations, the clockface was repainted.
